BORN & RAISED IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST, MY ART IS DEEPLY ROOTED IN THE
BEAUTY OF THE MOUNTAIN, FOREST AND COASTAL RANGES OF THE WEST.
In the fall of 2017 I took a giant leap of faith, I stepped away from my career as an apparel designer to pursue travel and adventure. My connection to the places I went and my experiences along the way paved my path to becoming a full-time artist.
Range Design Studio was launched in the heart of the mountains when I found my way to the Grand Tetons. I focused on bringing design, company branding, and marketing to communities, nonprofits, local businesses and artists. During that time, my own passion for making art and painting was reignited, and so began my pursuit as an artist, maker and designer.
My paintings are a reflection and interpretation of our natural landscapes - from deep forests to coastal ranges. A unique characteristic of my work is the limited color pallet, using only four colors - blue, green, black and white - my paintings balance calmness and liveliness, the same that we experience in the outdoors and nature.
A passion of mine is creating large public art that transforms urban spaces into an escape into nature that people resonate with and connect with as an experience. As a muralist, I'm inspired to find meaningful ways to add to the creative diversity of art for everyone to enjoy and help make a positive impact on the future of public art in our communities.
I currently live in Bellingham, WA and love sharing my art at breweries, coffee shops, restaurants and markets - places where people, art, space and food come together.
When I'm not in the studio painting, you can find me seeking inspiration outdoors - chasing wind, waves and all types of mountain adventures.
