MURALS IN MOTION:
Upcycled & Hand-Painted Clothing
Sustainably made, artistically driven. Each piece starts with upcycled ready-to-wear and is transformed by hand into a one-of-a-kind work of art. Painted in the same signature style as my murals, these ready-to-wear designs bring the spirit of the landscape and the energy of large-scale art into everyday fashion - carrying forward what murals are all about: being bold, visually accessible, and made for the world to experience - Photos by Kris Gray

Together, we can keep clothing out of the landfill and turn it into wearable art. Here’s how you can join in:
-
Donate or sell me your pre-loved pieces so I can give them a second life with paint.
-
Commission a custom piece on a garment you already own (prices range $25–$300).
-
Spread the word by sharing this project with friends who love art and sustainability.
What I paint:
My signature palette of green, blue, black, and white—trees, ferns, and mountain-inspired designs. Each garment has its own possibilities, so I’ll guide what can be painted (not every piece works for every design).
What I can paint on:
-
Structured woven workwear (Carhartt-style) in brown, grey, black, or off-white
-
Heavy cotton sweatshirts, colors: black or off-white
-
Button-up shirts with pockets, colors: black or off-white
-
Black denim
-
Black woven dresses, work pants, and suits
